About

A packaging supplier that quotes in days, not weeks.

Apex Packaging Solutions is a Canadian manufacturer of custom corrugated boxes, polybags, and protective packaging — built specifically for procurement teams who are tired of overseas lead times, oversized MOQs, and suppliers who don't return calls.

What Apex actually does

  • Manufactures custom corrugated boxes (RSC, FOL, die-cut, mailers, telescoping) in single-wall and double-wall configurations.
  • Extrudes and converts LDPE, HDPE, and PCR-content polybag film, including anti-static, food-safe, and compostable grades.
  • Supplies bulk packaging (Gaylord boxes, stretch and shrink film, edge protectors) to plants on blanket POs.
  • Builds protective packaging stacks (custom foam inserts, void fill, VCI) specified to ISTA drop-test classes.
  • Provides in-house structural design — dieline plus 3D mockup in 48–72 hours.

What Apex won't do

  • International shipping — Apex ships within Canada. US customers are referred to our cross-border partner.
  • Glass, metal, or rigid plastic containers — Apex is corrugated and flexible-film only.
  • Stock-and-ship with no customization — Apex's value is custom production. For pure stock distribution, larger national distributors are a better fit.

Naming what we don't do is faster than the buyer figuring it out mid-quote.

Capabilities

  • Corrugated converting — flexo, digital, and litho-laminated print. Die-cutting, scoring, slotting, gluing.
  • Polybag extrusion and conversion — single and multi-layer film, blown and cast lines, 1.0 mil through 6.0 mil.
  • In-house structural design — CAD-based dieline drawing, drop-test specification, ISTA pre-test.
  • Quality systems — ISO 9001, FSC chain-of-custody, SQF on food-contact lines.

What sets Apex apart from larger Canadian suppliers

  • Lead time: 7–14 days from artwork sign-off. Most competitors quote 4–6 weeks.
  • MOQ: 100 units on stock corrugated, 250 on custom-printed flexo, 500 on custom polybags. Most competitors start at 1,000–5,000.
  • Design support: included with orders over MOQ, not invoiced separately.
  • Sustainability documentation: FSC numbers, PCR percentages, ink composition, EN 13432 certs — provided as part of the standard delivery package, not on request only.
